2019 年 3月 IAG JAPAN 17 岡田和生氏の妻が アジアベストの役員に 元鉱業会社 のアジアベスト・グループ・インターナショナル(ABG)の買 収が終わりわずか2日後、タイガーリゾートアジア(TRA)が新しく11名 の役員を任命した。 届出ではABGの取締役及び役員10名が辞任し、代わりとしてTRAか ら11名が任命された。 その中には、TRA及びユニバーサルエンターテインメントの元会長 岡田和生氏の別居中の妻、岡田幸子氏（英語通称「タカコ」）が含まれ ている。岡田和生氏は会社に対しての不正を問われ、昨年追放され た。岡田夫人はTRA及びユニバーサルの取締役やフィリピンにある「 オカダ・マニラ」の事業を担当する子会社タイガーリゾートレジャー＆ エンターテインメントインク(TRLEI)のチーフ・リレーション・オフィサー (CRO)である。 その他、TRLEI社長 杉山健児氏、TRLEI経理副会長フジメマサミツ 氏、と現在TRLEI役員である竹内東司氏、マニュエル・M・ラザロ氏、大 矢隆司氏も新しいABGの取締役会に任命された。 株式会社ユニバーサルエンターテインメント最高執行責任者(COO) 徳田一氏もABGの新しい過半数株式保有者となる。 2月上旬にTRAがABGの株を66.6%取得し、フィリピンの証券取引 所の裏口上場を目指していると公表した。 KAZUO OKADA’S ESTRANGED WIFE AMONG NEW ASIABEST BOARD MEMBERS TIGER Resort Asia Ltd (TRA) has wasted no time in asserting its authority over Asiabest Group International Inc (ABG), installing 11 new directors to the board just two days after completing its takeover of the former mining firm. In a filing, TRA revealed that 10 officers and directors had stepped down from the ABG board, with TRA naming 11 people to take their place. They include Takako Okada, the estranged wife of former TRA and Universal Entertainment Chairman Kazuo Okada who was ousted last year following allegations of fraud against the company. Ms Okada remains a director of both TRA and Universal as well as being a board member and Chief Relations Officer of Tiger Resort, Leisure and Entertainment, Inc (TRLEI) – the TRA subsidiary that operates Philippines IR Okada Manila. Also appointed to the new ABG board are TRLEI President Kenji Sugiyama, VP of Accounting at TRLEI Masamitsu Fujime and three other current TRLEI directors in Toki Takeuchi, Manuel M. Lazaro and Takashi Oya. Universal Entertainment Corp COO Hajime Tokuda completes the picture for ABG’s new majority owners. TRA announced in early February that it had completed the acquisition of a 66.6% stake in ABG with the purpose of completing a backdoor listing of the company on the Philippine Stock Exchange.
